BMW 1-Series and 3-Series airbag recall
BMW is recalling all 1-Series and 3-Series models of the 2008 model year. Apparently some incorrect crimp connectors may have been used on the side airbag and belt-tensioner wiring. As a result sufficient contact between the crimp connectors and the corresponding plug may not occur which could lead to an increase in the electrical resistance of that connection. French car magazine, l’Automobile, believes that considering CO2 as the only pollutant to adapt legislation is unfair. Hence the magazine editors came up their own list that includes all pollutants coming from the exhaust pipe. Continue reading »
