Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen completes 30 years

Seeing the Mercedes-Benz G-Class on the streets of Beverly Hills is inadvertently a rolling tribute to the strength of the German manufacturer’s previously-solid designs. The Geländewagen is the only Mercedes to survive the cost-cutting 1995-2005 period, when quality totally hit the crapper.
