Switzer R911 GT2 beats Porsche at their own game

Porsche’s 2011 GT2 RS is the fastest roadgoing car in the company’s history, but it’s not quite fast enough to suit Tym Switzer’s demanding clients. Tym’s company, Ohio-based tuning firm Switzer Performance, announced their new Switzer GT2 R911S this morning – a super-997 GT2 with over nine hundred horsepower and racetrack-oriented revisions to ensure that even the mighty GT2 RS will disappear in its rearview mirrors. 2010 Subaru Legacy and Outback recall

Owners of 2010 Subaru Outback or Legacy models equipped with a CVT transmission will need to make an unscheduled visit to their Subaru dealer for recall work. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall of 29,443 Legacy and Outback models for a crack that can occur in the CVT cooler hose that could result in a fluid leak. The only vehicles affected by the recall are the ones built between July 31 and December 1, 2009. Continue reading »
