Video of Chevrolet Volt autocross testing

Quite possibly the most anticipated electric car in the history of electric cars, the 2011 Chevrolet Volt is evidently almost ready. There exists several working prototypes of the Volt. This video shows one burning rubber around an autocross course. While we are supposed to marvel at its agility, it isn’t particularly remarkable except for the fact that it is so boringly silent.

Chevrolet Volt working prototype hits the road

The General Motors Pre-Production operations center at the Warren, MI Tech Center has finished work on the first of 75 “integration” prototypes of the Chevrolet Volt. The first car was completed a week ahead of schedule, and it is already on the streets undergoing tests. Continue reading »
