Porsche 911 GT2 becomes 9ff BT-2

The standard Porsche 911 GT2 is a capable machine, with 530 hp and 501 lb-ft of torque from the 3.6L engine, pushing the sports car to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds with the top speed 206 mph. But tuner 9ff felt that they can do better, with the 9ff BT-2.

The new BT-2 program boosts the German supercar to an impressive 850 hp and 678 lb-ft of torque. The performance is extraordinary, with 0-60 mph in less than 3 seconds, 0-124 mph in in 8.7 seconds, 0-188 mph in 18.4 seconds and a top speed of 241 mph.

These numbers were obtained using some ECU tweaking, a new exhaust system but also a new rear spoiler in order to improve the handling at very high speeds.
9ff is a Porsche expert, so they couldn’t let this car go without a proper aerodynamic package. There are carbon-fiber front and rear spoilers and a big rear wing. They’ve also fitted the car with light alloys and an active exhaust system that can sound civil or sporty.
The Porsche 911 GT2 with 9ff BT-2 tuning costs the equivalent of $400,000 in Europe.
