Mini Cooper gets AC Schnitzer upgrades

German tuner AC Schnitzer has unveiled their new set of accessories and upgrades for the 2009 MINI Cooper Convertible range.

AC Schnitzer offers an engine upgrade package which boosts the MINI Cooper S to 226 hp via an ECU update. Other upgrades include a limited-slip differential, a height-adjustable sports suspension, and an aluminum strut brace for the front axle.

AC Schnitzer also offers a sport exhaust system with chrome accents, several wheel and tire combinations, a new front spoiler, a sporty rear skirt, and a variety of different decal packages. Should owners feel obligated to spruce up the interior, the tuning firm also offers an aluminum gear knob and pedals, as well as several velour floor mats.
