Lamborghini Murcielago LP 650-4 Roadster revealed

Adding to the ever-longer list of Murcielago variants, Lamborghini has unveiled the limited edition Murciélago LP 650-4 Roadster, with a targa roof and an upgraded engine.

The Roadster version of the Murciélago will offer an uprated 650 hp 6.5L V12 engine with 487 lb-ft of torque, mated to an all-wheel-drive system, thereby gaining the LP 650-4 moniker. It can manage the 0-62 mph run in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph.

Only 50 units of this special edition will be produced, with the gaudy ‘Grigio Telesto’ paintjob that combines gray bodywork with orange highlights. A transparent engine cover shows off the V12 engine behind the driver. The interior features alcantara, leather and more cheesy orange trim.
Looks like Lamborghini hasn’t heard of the recession yet.
