First info on new 2008 Audi A4
This apparently is a leaked first photo of the next-generation Audi A4. It looks like it has some sort of S-Line kit on it. We are not sure if the platform is new, since the car looks like a simple facelift yet again, but we found some other info.
The base engine is a 160 hp 1.8L four-cylinder while the top non-S4 engine is a 260 hp 3.2L V6. Other engines include a 2.0L, a 2.7L and a 3.0L diesel. Looks a lot like carryover motors with small power upgrades.
The car will debut at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show.

What the hell? The S line of the new A4 will only have 260hp? Why such the let down from the previous S atleast put a Turbo on it like the older S4. Oh well It looks like the Vag group decided to look a lot like BMW with this one. Too bad Audi has had a nice distinction between BMW and Mercedes and now the lines are getting way too blurred. I don’t think there’s a lot of orginality in this model. Do better Stutgart.
