All-new 2008 VW Tiguan revealed
Volkswagen has been teasing the public with their own spy shots of their new Tiguan small 4WD, but no one except Europeans/VW nuts/car rags seemed to care. The actual production-ready Tiguan has now broken cover, looking like a lifted microcar.
Petrol engine choices are all torquey 2.0L turbo-four motors, with 150 hp, 170 hp and 200 hp, familiar to VW owners. We’re not sure if it packs any off-road hardware other than all-wheel-drive. The interior is a snore-fest. There will also be a gussied-up Audi version, but Porsche chose not to get their own one.
