2012 Audi A3 prototype mule spy shots
Automotive website WorldCarFans.com has caught what they say appears to be a prototype for the 2012 Audi A3, undergoing testing in the guise of a VW Golf.
The car is obviously a mule due to its roughly-molded fender flares and basic wheels, while being huddled together in among current-generation Audi models. The A3 is largely expected to mimic the styling details of the Audi Q5 crossover, while using updated versions of the 1.4L and 2.0L TSI engines.
