2010 Subaru Legacy wagon debuts in Japan

The 2010 Subaru Legacy sedan was unveiled a few months ago at the recent New York auto show, and while the new model has barely debuted in the United States, Japan already has a JDM wagon version of the Legacy.

The all-wheel-drive wagon basically gets the same 265 hp 2.5L turbo-4 and 256 hp 3.6L boxer-6 engines as the sedan, but with the added utility of a larger cargo area. It looks pretty much the same as the Subaru Outback model, but with lower ground clearance and less plastic cladding.

wow! extremely disappointed. not even close to what the initial renderings/photos for this car. the concept pics were more sporty & agressive. subaru took the fun out of this wagon now with a pretty generic & boring final production model. beyond disappointed actually.
