2010 Chevy Camaro leads muscle-car wars
The muscle-car wars are heating up, even in the middle of a recession. The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro has overtaken the 2010 Ford Mustang in sales for the month of June.
Sales figures for June show that General Motors has a hit on their hands, shifting 9,320 Camaro units off dealer lots last month, compared to Ford selling 7,632 Mustang variants. The Dodge Challenger trails the pack with just 1,369 units sold last month.
General Motors apparently a backlog of 10,000 sold orders to fill, so the monthly sales wins are likely to continue for a while.
