My 2010 ss camaro only has 926 miles on it and i experienced these same prolems broken transmission happend the when I was taking off to get on highway and noticed the same thing with the shifter it is like they forgot some thing parts/bolts I traded in my 1999 Ford Mustang GT with 220,000 on the original motor/trans and had no major issues I was very happy with that car and now thirty five grand later I got this poop.

I have had my 2SS/RS for 3 weeks. I have not used the launch control but have the following issue. When going over bumps in the road at any RPM the shifter bounce a lot. The dealer stated that this is normal.

My concern is that it feels like the tranny/engine mounts are too soft or loose but they check all of them. With the independent rear and only 600 miles I feel it should be a lot tighter.

Does anyone else experience this? Could this flex/movement be the cause of failure?

Transmission output shaft broke when using “Launch control mode” see owners manual for details. Launch control holds engine RPM to 4600 untill cluth is released and prevents over spinning of rear tires to give you the quistest launch possible. My transmission broke on frist attempt. hoping new transmission will be stronger.
