2009 Jaguar X-Type gets skin job

The Jaguar X-Type has always been considered a joke since the day it debuted. It drives well enough, looks great, and even improved its reliability record over the years. But its price combined with the fact that it is simply a reworked Ford was enough to spell disaster for what was supposed to be Jaguar’s volume model. Unlike the XF transformation, the X-Type gets a minor refresh to keep it going until it is euthanized eventually.

Changes are limited to accessories, cabin trim and styling, although Jaguar claims there are as many as 500 changes. And that’s it.
