Euro-market Renault Symbol shows off frugality
The Turkish-built Renault Symbol is a new economy car that will soon hit European markets in the coming months. To celebrate its debut, the French manufacturer held the officially-monitored Renault Symbol Eco-Challenge in Turkey.
The event saw the diesel-powered Symbol 1.5 dCi 85 return fuel consumption figures of 75 mpg, which is equivalent to a range of 1000 miles on a full tank.
Renault has no plans to enter the American market (again) in the near future.
