2008 Porsche 911 GT2 exposed before launch
There are so many Porsche 911 variants out there right now, that we didn’t even know yet another one was due. Details of the 2008 Porsche 911 GT2 are out now, whether the German automaker likes it or not.
The GT2 features a 3.6L twin-turbo flat-six with 530 hp at 5600 rpm and 505 lb-ft of torque from 2200 to 4500 rpm. The 0-60 mph is done in 3.6 seconds, while 0-100 mph is finished in 7.1 seconds. Top speed is 204 mph, with a curb weight of 3,175 lbs. Features include a titanium exhaust, 6-speed manual gearbox and a launch control system.
