Volvo has developed an automated system where your car will brake by itself if it realises that you will not stop in time to avoid hitting the car in front. Interesting system, but it is scary to think what those annoying tailgaters will use this for. (more…)
The 2009 Nissan Murano has been officially unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The profile is much the same as the current Murano, but the rear benefits from new LED tail-lights and there is an optional panoramic roof, along with a power upgrade for the standard V6. (more…)
This is the 2009 Lincoln MKS, Ford’s attempt at rejuvenating the dying Lincoln brand, unveiled at the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show currently running this November. It is a full-size luxury car based on the Ford Five Hundred platform, which itself is a derivation of the Volvo S80 platform. The current FWD Hyundai Coupe tries hard to look like a Ferrari, but pales in performance compared to rivals. This 2009 coupe aims to change that. It will most probably feature a new name, but the bigger deal is the new rear-wheel-drive chassis, the option of a turbo-4 or a bigger V6, and looks that thrill. (more…)

The Middle East International Motor Show in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, will host the world premiere of a Maybach model not shown anywhere else. Announced earlier by Mercedes-Benz as a mystery Maybach concept car, some British rag leaked that the unknown car is indeed a four-door convertible called the Maybach 62 Landaulet. (more…)
