Brabus SV12 fastest coupe in the world

Brabus is offering what it names the fastest and most powerful coupe in the world. Called the Brabus SV12 S Biturbo Coupe, which is actually a tuned version of the Mercedes-Benz CL 600.

The SV12 is powered by an engine based on the turbocharged Mercedes 600 V12. The modifications include special exhaust manifolds, two larger turbochargers, a high-efficiency intercooler and a high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts and low back pressure.
Performance figures of the engine include a rated power output of 730 hp at 5100 rpm, and a peak torque of 973 lb-ft at just 2100 rpm. In the car peak torque is limited electronically to 811 lb-ft.
Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a modified five-speed automatic transmission. The optionally available BRABUS locking differential optimizes traction. All BRABUS drivetrain elements are operated with ARAL high-performance lubricants.
The BRABUS SV12 S Biturbo coupe boasts numbers like 0-62 mph in 4.0 seconds, 124 mph after just 11.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 212 mph.

Additional features include a mild body kit, an exhaust system, custom-tailored alcantara/leather interior and a choice of wheel sizes. The largest corresponding tires are size 265/30 ZR 21 in front and size 295/30 ZR 21 in the rear.
The optional BRABUS suspension lowers the ride height by an inch. The car can be equipped with the BRABUS high-performance brake system with 12-piston aluminum front calipers and six-piston aluminum rear calipers.
The BRABUS SV12 S Biturbo coupe can be ordered as a complete car starting beyond 200 grand or can be built based on an existing current CL 600 model.
