The standard 2008 Chevrolet Corvette gets a handful of upgrades, including a new 6.2L LS3 V8.
The larger engine is capable of 430 hp, compared to the 400 hp of the outgoing 6.0L LS2 V8. Torque is bumped up to 424 lb-ft. In addition, there’s a new high-flow cylinder head, larger valves, an acoustically-tuned intake manifold, a dual-stage exhaust system and an improved interior. We also see a black (glass?) roof.
This Leaves The Gap Between The Z06, and standard vette at “only” 75 hp…. Why bring it any closer?
Why bring it any closer? Hmmm, because I am ordering one loaded with options for $20,000.00 less than the standard Z06 price… Weeeeeee. Man is this going to be a fun summer…
