German carmaker RUF is registered as an actual carmaker, even though they use Porsche models as their base. Their latest creation is the 700 hp CTR3.
The 3.8L twin-turbo flat-6 produces 700 hp and 656 lb-ft of torque, which enables the CTR3 to run from zero to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds and max out at 235 mph.
Features include a six-speed sequential manual gearbox, leather cabin, 15″ 6-piston ceramic-composite brakes fore and aft, a set of five-spoke wheels sized 19″ in front and 20″ in back and an aluminum/carbon-fiber body.
The CTR3 is priced at over $510,000 dollars at the current exchange rate. Serious money for a tuner Porsche, even if RUF do call themselves a real carmaker.
